You will work directly with end-user customers to support the installation and integration of advanced systems and solutions.Your expertise in project management and engineering will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring successful project execution, and optimizing energy efficiency

You will be a part of the Electric Drive Systems Project Engineering team within Electric Power Systems reporting directly to our Project Engineering Manager
This role will work hybrid work schedule at our Torrance, California location. In this role, you will impact:Leading and managing complex, multi-domain building infrastructure projectsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of advanced systemsDriving innovation and optimizing energy efficiency in building infrastructureRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the execution and oversight of long-term electric drive systems motor controller or Ram Air Turbine engineering projects
Ensures that program milestones are tracked and schedules are met on-time and on-budget.Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project executionPerforms control account management (CAM) activities for assigned projects or relevant subproject segments
Plans, estimates, and schedules engineering work.Collects and presents earned value tracking status for assigned projects
Manages project resources and compiles cumulative project Schedule Performance Index and Cost Performance Index (SPI/CPI) status.Presents monthly program reviews and reports highlights/challenges status to director level manager. Requests resources for electrical circuit design, and electrical systems engineering to match project man-loading levels.Strong project management skills including scheduling with Microsoft Project or equivalent system is preferred
Creates and presents PowerPoint charts for status.Familiar with a variety of project engineering concepts, practices, and procedures such as Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Control Account Management (CAM), Earned Value Management and Reporting, and engineering cost estimation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and installation teams, to ensure seamless integration of advanced systemsIdentify and mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on trackEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsDrive innovation and optimize energy efficiency in building infrastructure projectsLead and oversee complex, multi-domain building infrastructure projects from initiation to completionConduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholdersTravel: 10-15% (US/International) CA - The salary range for
this position is $136,000-$220,000
The actual base salary offer will depend
on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other
