Position Description: Responsibilities
- Articulates and helps leaders at all levels of the organization, both business and technology, understand the benefits of working Agile.
- Demonstrates appreciation of the depths of Agile practices and principles and helps the teams appreciate them.
- Arms Agile teams with the right knowledge, tools and training so that they become fully functioning, self-sustaining and accountable.
- Drives organizational change, in addition to Agile best practices and capabilities within the team, enabling the team to adopt and take ownership of their individual roles.
- Supports team navigate through the rough patches, common roadblocks and pain points (especially early in the adoption process).
- Nurtures team and leadership through a shift from command-and-control management practices to collaborative, team centric environments.
- Supports team cohesiveness and enables Scrum Master, Product Owner and other roles to effectively perform their duties.
- Supports Agile tool adoption and consistent utilization, in partnership with the Tools & Process Engineering team.
- Ensures consistency across the teams, in collaboration with Transformation Partners and Application Delivery leaders.
- Escalates issues and drives change to remove impediments from the teams when applicable.
Required Technical Skills - Strong understanding of and experience with Agile software development (Scrum and Kanban).
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Experience as a Scrum master.
- Experience with Rally Software.
- Experience performing these roles in the insurance/financial services industry, in a multi-national organization highly preferable.Required People & Leadership Skills
- Passionate about communication, group dynamics and coaching others.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills; Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Effectively navigates all levels of the organization to influence the necessary culture shift to help the organization realize its goals.
- Ability to coach leaders and team members on overcoming organizational impediments.

- Deploys strong communication and problem-solving skills at all levels of the organization.
- Exhibits patience and resilience in the absence of clear signs of success and progression.
Education & Experience Level: - Bachelor's degree.
- Certified Scrum Master / Scrum Practitioner highly preferable.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) SPC4.6 Certified (or higher).
- 10+ years technology experience, with at least 5+ years direct experience in Agile Transformation.
- 4+ years working as an Agile coach.
