Sr Analyst - Systems - Maximus

About the Job
The senior analyst leads analysis of systems issues and inventory management regarding VA veteran medical evaluation requests as well as coordinating issue handoff to other staff for coordinated resolution. The analyst also develops repeatable, transparent, documented workflows as well as issue archiving, ESR and issue dashboarding, and issue managerial alerting. The analyst is both reactive to reported issues as well as proactive in hypothesizing, identifying, and reporting potential issues via varied data analyses via both SQL and Excel. Understanding how to communicate issues effectively, dashboarding issues, transparency, and identifying potential issues are critical components of the role. The analyst, as needed, is also responsible like work on topics beyond VA veteran medical evaluation requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead reviews and analyze efficiencies of systems
- Analyze system data and performance reports to identify trends and business impact.
- Mentor IT Application Analysts in data analysis and process improvements
- Interact with all levels within the organization; develop working relationships with management, staff, stakeholders and business partners
- Participate in meetings and evaluate outcomes to ensure needs of project stakeholders are being met
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Project Specific Qualifications:
-Familiarity for VA data systems
-Familiarity with VA business processes
-Matrixed communication skills between operations, IT, and client (VA)
-SQL development skills
-Excel data analysis and report development

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
