About the Job
While the position requires a self-starter who will work independently with limited guidance in completing their work, this person will work closely with leadership and the Operations team in the design, delivery, and training of performance metrics, reporting and data entry processes.
Primary Accountabilities:
Analytical (35%)
- Mine data for improvement opportunities and work with the Continuous Improvement team to find and implement solutions to address these gaps
- Perform forecasting and modeling to assist the Operations team in planning for the execution of the business, to aid in pricing and solution design
- Develop metrics based on data to aid the Operations team in measuring and driving optimal performance
Technical (30%)
- Design and build processes to automate operations performance reporting and handle scaling to many facilities and clients
- Automate manual repetitive processes for, but not limited to, Operations and Client Services associates to improve efficiency in reporting, administrative work, validating file loads, and related tasks
- Design better processes (e.g. inventory tracking) and reporting around them
Operational (20%)
- Own maintenance and execution of operations performance reporting
- Work to make enhancements to the data entry and synthesis processes as well as add new meaningful content and improve the presentation as appropriate for the various audiences
Project Management (10%)
- Train (directly or through a "train the trainer" approach depending on the situation) facilities on new initiatives
Administrative (5%)
- Quantitatively track progress and report the status of ongoing initiatives
- Comply with Inmar policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations or a related field
- 4-6 years related work experience and/or any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the proper background for this position
- SQL and VBA strongly preferred; Alteryx a plus
- Experience with Tableau or relevant BI tools
- Microsoft Office suite of software products (Excel, Access, Word), SQL Server Management studio, Google products (email, calendar, Drive)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data problems
- Ability to train other associates on business processes
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and business problems simultaneously
- Ability to solve problems with minimal instruction and guidance
