About the Job
Maximus is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect for a DoD program. This role will design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions for DoD applications. With a focus on AWS technology, this role requires proficiency in architecture and cloud management to optimize system performance. This position is central to advancing cloud capabilities, ensuring security, and enhancing operations on both classified and unclassified platforms.
This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement cloud solutions aligned with DoD technical requirements, focusing on security and scalability.
• Analyze and improve current cloud processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Develop and optimize cloud architectures for various software applications across classified and unclassified systems.
• Provide technical guidance in AWS tools, including Kubernetes, EKS, and Lambda.
Qualifications:
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• 10+ years of experience with AWS integrations, including container platforms and microservices.
o At least 3 years of recent & relevant experience with DoD AWS Unclassified, Secret & Top Secret cloud integrations, microservices and deployments.
o Experience in hybrid monolithic deployments using VMs, OVAs, EX2s & Kubernetes to manage container deployments.
• IAT II Certification
• Must have 2 of the following certifications/trainings. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted.
o AWS Solutions Architect Professional
o AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
o AWS SysOps Administrator Associate
o AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
