Job Summary:
The Sr
DevOps Engineer will lead in architecting, engineering and operating production/development environments and Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, as well as mentoring staff, managing team workloads, tracking projects, and driving operational optimization initiatives
This role will be 80% technical hands-on engineering and 20% management and operations optimization.
Responsibilities:
Architecting, implementing, and managing Azure production and development environments to support enterprise applications and products.
Azure cloud infrastructure administration and engineering.
Creating and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, with deployments to Azure Kubernetes Services, and APIM.
Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation.
Application and infrastructure incident response.
Project management.
Azure cost analysis and optimization.
Automation and operational process optimization.
Qualifications: 10+ years' experience in DevOps Engineering, 5+ years in Azure Cloud engineering and 2+ years mentoring/leading engineers
Candidate must be fully hands-on with recent Azure experience.
Mastery of Azure DevOps CI/CD, building, and deploying to Kubernetes.
Mastery of Kubernetes, preferred experience with ArgoCD and Istio.
Terraform Infrastructure as Code, Ansible configuration automation at scale.
Azure DevOps and Azure Engineer certification or comparable hands-on experience.
State Management, and Cloud Orchestration.
Mastery in written/verbal skills.
Mastery with contemporary engineering process (e.g
agile, scrum, Kanban).
Mastery of SQL and Database architecture, administration, and performance management.
4-year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
