Who You Are:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate/Assistant to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Institutional Relationships. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel and data analysis, have a background in sales, and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. This role involves direct sales activities, including cold calling/client interaction, as well as managing the SVP's email and calendar. A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.
What You'll Do
- Provide administrative and operational support to the SVP of Institutional Relationships.
- Perform detailed data analysis and reporting using Excel and other tools.
- Assist in managing and organizing the SVP's email inbox and calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling for travel.
- Handle inbound and outbound sales activities, including cold calls to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the SVP to maintain and grow client relationships.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and sales materials.
- Track and analyze data related to sales performance, client engagement, and market trends.
- Assist in organizing internal and external meetings, events, and association conferences.
- Conduct research on potential prospects and market opportunities.
- Coordinate follow-up activities, including client communications and next steps from meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong data analysis skills.
- Previous experience in sales or a client-facing role, including cold calling.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
