About the Job
Possesses detailed knowledge of technical solutions to assist in creating and providing high quality data, reports, and analysis. Must possess knowledge of healthcare and clinical operations, with a primary focus on clinician access and healthcare revenue cycle high visibility initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In-depth knowledge of end user workflows, clinical systems, and operations, with a primary focus on optimizing EPIC reporting metrics and reporting tools, primarily for Epic Cadence and Epic Professional Billing modules.
- Assists in the overall integrity of the CDM (Charge Master) with a focus on accuracy, revenue cycle integrity, and compliance with payer requirements.
- Design, create, test, validate, deploy, and maintain systems and reports to support patient care, revenue cycle and strategic initiatives.
- Builds Radar dashboards, Reporting Workbench reports, Crystal reports, Tableau reports, operational tools, creates custom SQL metrics, and assists in maintaining Analytics Catalog, as well as modifying existing reporting.
- Subject matter expert for self service and other analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench, Power BI etc.
- Evaluates SSIS ETL's to trouble-shoot automated reporting build between systems.
- Audits peer reports and reviews upgrade documentation related to Clarity features and Crystal reporting to determine how best to implement changes.
- Maintains highly effective partnerships with IT, Analytic partners, Finance, Operations, Population Health.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
- Proven ability to analyze business reporting requirements and systems functionality to develop and support reporting systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills including external data connections and PowerPivot development experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences, Math, Information Systems, Statistics, related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years with BI tools, preferably Epic reporting tools such as Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench, MS SQL, SAP Business Objects Crystal Reports, Cubes, and Tableau.
- Minimum five (5) years data analysis experience with respect to identifying and defining source data using SQL or data profiling tools.
- Minimum of (5) years of healthcare industry experience focused in Patient Access and/or Revenue using Epic BI tools (such as Radar dashboards, Reporting Workbench, Slicer Dicer).
Pay Range:
$93,850.00 - $140,775.00

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
