Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst with a strong background in business analysis and Agile methodologies to drive product strategy, backlog prioritization, and sprint goals. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of business analysis experience and a passion for delivering high-value, user-centered solutions through effective stakeholder collaboration and backlog management.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage, develop, and prioritize the product backlog of user stories, ensuring alignment with business priorities and clarity of requirements.
+ Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrum, and sprint reviews. Provide feedback on sprint achievements and ensure alignment with product goals.
+ Work with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, translate them into clear, user stories, and continuously assess feedback to identify the most valuable product features.
+ Track and monitor the progress of product development through daily interactions and regular status updates. Convey risks, progress, and achievements to management and key stakeholders.
+ Measure product performance and value delivered to users, making adjustments to improve the product’s alignment with business goals.
+ Establish user story acceptance criteria and approve baseline user stories. Take ownership of sprint goals and sprint delivery, acting as the final approver for sprint outcomes.
+ Assess the product value stream to identify and drive improvements, ensuring implemented features deliver value to end users and meet business objectives.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
+ 8+ years in business analysis, ideally with a focus on Agile environments and experience in product backlog management.
+ Ability to interact with stakeholders, development teams, and suppliers in a clear, professional manner, ensuring effective communication across all levels.
+ Strong ability to assess product performance, identify improvement areas, and translate business needs into practical requirements.
+ Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
+ Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience in facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
+ Skilled at working independently and leading matrixed teams, including designers, developers, and other cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to maintain brand consistency and strategy, integrating feedback into a cohesive, compelling product outcome.
Preferred Skills:
+ Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
+ Experience in user experience design or customer-centric product development.
+ Strong judgment and initiative to make proactive improvements to product strategy and deliverables.
