As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will support software development projects by employing a deep understanding of business analysis concepts and deliverables. Working with limited supervision, this role requires you to gather and document requirements, coordinate project activities, and engage in critical communication with stakeholders. You will oversee various aspects of project execution, managing data collection. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential as you translate business needs into actionable items, manage resources, and ensure project alignment with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and completion.
- Review vendor Statements of Work, providing feedback and recommendations to the CIO.
- Draft, submit, and adjust budget proposals, ensuring financial alignment with project needs.
- Maintain project epics, user stories, and tasks in Jira, providing regular updates and summary reports for the client.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and users to gather critical information and ensure project objectives.
- Perform comprehensive requirement analysis, translating findings into detailed user stories for Agile teams.
- Balance and manage competing resources, priorities, and project timelines.
- Assess business processes, identifying improvement areas and implementing effective solutions.
- Lead initiatives across the full software development lifecycle using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Proven experience in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and technical requirements.
- Skilled in translating business requirements into user stories for Agile delivery.
- Proficiency in stakeholder communication and managing competing priorities.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and working knowledge of Waterfall processes.
- Ability to create functional specifications, use cases, and documentation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project cohesion.
- Strong ability to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop test cases.
- Proficiency in risk analysis and mitigation strategies to support project objectives.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for project and task management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leadership in software development projects.
