About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Ensure HRSA has the internal processes and skills necessary to administer, oversee, and support the modernization of the OPTN. In collaboration with the Division of Transplantation (DoT) Leadership, the Contractor shall prioritize which DoT processes require further analysis and/or reengineering.
- Work with appropriate DoT stakeholders to document relevant current state processes as well as desired future state process improvements.
- Support the development of SOPs and job aids to improve operations. Specific tasks include:
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and research relevant to the modernization of DoT operations
- Document current state processes and identify pain points, areas of redundancy, and waste
- Facilitate discussions with relevant DoT stakeholders to document desired future state improvements
- Develop future state process maps and/or SOPs utilizing Lean Six Sigma best practices
- Develop a process-specific training plan for each process area for DoT’s implementation and dissemination of training across the Division
- Develop job aids and SOPs outlining changes for future state processes
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
- At least two years of experience.
- Experience with large scale transformation, preferably in the healthcare field.
- Must be able to run project update meetings with a variety of audiences.
- Must have excellent client relationship management skills and operate in complex environments.
- Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and possess agility to respond to ad hoc requests.
- Must possess leadership qualities and skills that motivate project team members to drive the project to a successful conclusion.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and MS365.
- May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements
