We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join the CHG Client Product Team. You'll be working to help define and build CHG's Enterprise Scheduling capabilities. This role will involve working closely with product teams across the organization and with multiple stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document schedule management needs and translate them into actionable requirements for our product team. You'll leverage your analytical skills, business acumen, and technical knowledge to contribute to the enhancement of our Enterprise platform capabilities and to help unlock new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all involved in the product/solution delivery lifecycle (product management, users, stakeholders, software engineers, cross-functional teams, and delivery) to understand and articulate business needs. Document these as well-defined business, data, and product requirements.
- Convert these requirements into clear, concise functional and non-functional specifications for the product team.
- Work closely with the product team by contributing to the creation and maintenance of artifacts such as technical user stories, process flow diagrams, and test plans.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and review requirements documentation with product management, users, and the product team.
- Comprehend and communicate the potential risks and impacts of changes on systems, integrations, processes, users, UI/UX, and architecture, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and its potential transformations.
- When needed partner with Delivery Manager to co-develop impact analysis
- Understand the objectives and value of proposed features and functionality to provide context, aiding the product team in developing effective solutions.
- Participate in root cause analysis of data/process issues.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and analyze competition
- Develop a deep understanding of internal and customer facing needs and business use cases
Qualifications:
- Stakeholder Engagement - Liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, understanding and translating their needs into actionable requirements.
- Requirements Management - Lead the development and management of clear, detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Data Driven - Leverage data to drive requirements gathering, ensuring thorough requirements.
- Process Improvement - Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication - communicates with all involved in the product/solution delivery lifecycle frequently and effectively.
- Collaboration - collaborates effectively with all involved in the product/solution delivery lifecycle.
- Puts People First - demonstrates empathy and actively listens to customers and colleagues to understand their needs and challenges.
Education and Years of Experience:
- BS preferred in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, computer science, or a related field), but relevant professional experience accepted .
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools, such as Salesforce, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
- Experience developing Enterprise platform capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $64,900 -- $176,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
