About the Job
Requirements:
- This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division.
- You will be mainly accountable for:
- Solving complex industrial problems, and reviewing current technologies to choose effective applications, equipment and methods for new products or software
- Lead for taking architectural decisions on Embedded Products with evaluating technical and business trade offs
- Manage the whole SW development life cycle (SDLC) of embedded software: Requirements engineering, design, implementation, test including final system testing and maintenance
- Performing a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, typically utilizing advanced, innovative techniques
- Training junior team members when needed, and heading up or participating in projects
- Lead/Collaborate well with R&D teams, to deliver the Product releases on time, with good quality
- Align with manager (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables
- Keeping up to date with technologies, tools and methods, and implementing initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction
- Providing expert assistance for projects and colleagues, acting as a mentor and disseminating lessons learned
- Developing project IP strategies, as well as identifying and managing risks in R&D projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Must have 8+ years of experience in embedded systems architecture and design.
- Sound Knowledge of Embedded Operating Systems e.g., Embedded Linux and/or other relevant OS experience (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Green Hills, QNX).
- Proven track record in embedded software programming in C/C++.
- Hands on experience on MQTT, Sparkplug B and similar protocols
- Good to have Node JS, React knowledge.
- Demonstrable experience in a lead position and proven capability in the technical management of at least one other engineer.
