The SaaS team at the client has an urgent need for four quality Senior Cisco Network engineers.
Skills needed include:
Routing
LAN
WAN
ASA
ACI
F5 (a plus)
McAfee IPS (a plus)
The client is primarily a Cisco based network so these engineers will need very strong Cisco skills.
Maintain a strong working understanding of client SaaS products, systems, and architecture
Discovery, documentation, and turnover of new SaaS offerings
Ensure Service Delivery has met all technical requirements for operational readiness of SaaS offerings
Produce high quality support documentation to be used by Application Operations Center
Act as first escalation point for Application Operations Center in the event of suspected service interruption or degradation
Act as liaison between Client, Service Delivery, Ops Solutions, Hosting Operations and Network Operations
REQUIREMENTS
Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking.
Must have a good extensive experience and knowledge of MPLS networks.
Must possess extensive experience for planning, coordinating and implementing a wide range of diverse data communications and networks, integrated diverse network applications and technologies.
Working knowledge of the following elements such as router hardware/software/configuration; data switch hardware/software/configuration; IP addressing; internal and external; routing conventions/configurations; static, dynamic.
High availability of network devices; routers, switches, network protocols, private network configuration and design.
Physical network layer infrastructure, Internet provisions; number, type, vendor, location of connections.
Use and implementation of tunnels, utilization backup redundancy, network failure recovery at the protocol and device, network monitoring infrastructure in addition to a clear general overview of LAN, WAN and network management technologies.
Understands network technology and components, and familiar with requirements such as testing changes, communications with customers, and change control and applies at own level of expertise.
Must possess ability for planning, coordinating, implementation and testing a wide range of our clients diverse network infrastructure.
Exhibits characteristics such as good planning, detail-orientation and ability to organize and implement work.
Is action- and results-oriented, emphasizing expansion and application of technical knowledge.
Effectively presents information and responds to questions or inquiries from supervisor, customers, co-workers, coordinating personnel, etc
