About the Job
This strategic position will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders within designated customer healthcare systems, with a focus on positioning clinical value to the full ASP suite of offerings.
The Sr. CEC will help drive new business opportunities by accelerating and increasing clinical positioning activities and will be able to articulate the overall differentiated clinical value proposition that ASP brings to health systems.
This role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of professional organization relationships and identify key ways to partner and collaborate to deliver on ASP’s strategic initiatives.
This role will help identify and develop emerging industry thought leaders and KOL’s, identify strategic ways to
collaborate and partner.
This role will support key projects as identified by manager, to include partnering with key internal business stakeholders, and the development and delivery of key programs to both internal and external customers.
The SR. CEC provides leadership to clinical team, with a focus on the Fortive 9.
This position will also align with Sales and Marketing strategies to help deliver on key initiatives.
Under limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:
· Oversee all early-stage strategic clinical positioning activities for assigned healthcare systems
· Build strategic client stakeholder relationships that differentiates ASP to the health systems as the preferred and trusted partner in the market.
· Lead the clinical positioning process to identify and engage with key decision-makers/influencers in targeted healthcare systems including C-suite level stakeholders and other clinical executive leaders.
· Develop a deep understanding of healthcare systems' clinical and operational challenges and creatively identify ways ASP can address these needs.
· Represent ASP at key industry events/national conferences, develop and present content that reinforces our strategic imperatives.
· Partner with key professional representatives at society meetings, identify and develop relationships with emerging thought leaders.
· Partner with key internal business partners, such as Medical Affairs, marketing, and R&D to build
customer programs/events to demonstrate our overall differentiated clinical value proposition.
· Partner with Commercial Education Manager to help build and deliver clinically focused educational content for the sales organization.
· Provide clinical expertise through consultation and education, and as needed product training and customer support.
· Develop customer facing, clinically focused content that drives a better understanding of ASP’s technology and best practice.
· Provide mentorship, training and support to new CEC’s; support the development of existing team members.
· Help build clinical content for Customer Experience Events, deliver and support.
· Performs other strategic duties as assigned.

Years of Related Experience:
· 5 years’ experience in clinical/healthcare setting is preferred.
· 3 years’ of clinical education or related experience in medical device is preferred.
· 3+ years minimum experience in creating and delivering educational content is preferred.
· Certification in perioperative Nursing (CNOR), Sterile Processing, or Endoscopy is preferred.
· Must be a self-starter requiring little supervision.
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-past, deadline driven environment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses, and Affiliations:

· Clinical expertise in surgical instrumentation including endoscopic instruments.
· Knowledge of sterilization and high-level disinfection.
· Knowledge of operating room, central processing and endoscopy suite practices, procedures and protocols.
· Knowledge of Perioperative nursing standards, infection control standards, SGNA guidelines and SPD guidelines for practice.
· Knowledge of ASP’s products and competitive products.
· Knowledge of market changes or trends in healthcare environments utilizing ASP’s products.
· Knowledge of purchasing practices in healthcare organizations.
· Knowledge of operating and capital budgets.
· Knowledge of federal and state regulatory agencies, AAMI, OSHA, JCAHO, which impact the environments we serve.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
· Highly developed interpersonal/people skills, articulate and effective communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels.
· Demonstrated customer focus and strong relationship building skills.
· Strong team skills, both building and partnering.
· Strong presentation skills, both preparing and delivering.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
List Certifications, licenses and affiliations include:
· RN with BSN
· Certification in perioperative Nursing (CNOR), Sterile Processing, or Endoscopy is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Moderate walking between buildings. Moderate time standing during presentations, class lectures. Some lifting
associated with instruments, class supplies, sterilizer components. Office environment. Travel required, car and
air (up to 50-60%), customer events, chapter and society meetings, sales training, and as needed.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 99,700.00 - 185,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
