**Purpose and Objectives**
Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cloud Architect Advisor for the Atlas Program to manage the roadmap, development, quality assurance, and implementation of our Configurator tool.

**Expectations and Tasks**
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the strategic value of the SAP Private Cloud's Configurator tool. This involves ensuring the tool aligns with existing and future business initiatives and adapts to new technological trends. You will be expected to convert customer needs and requests from service and portfolio owners into detailed User Stories.
Part of your responsibility will involve creating a Business Product Roadmap and securing buy-in from stakeholders. You will prioritize usability, end-to-end integration, efficiency, and quality in all developments.
Your role will encompass end-to-end design, in coordination with other stakeholders, to ensure quality, go-live, and implementation of release increments. You will set priorities for issues, user stories, and product increments. As the main point of contact for IT Product Owners and UX designers, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of these responsibilities.
We're seeking a candidate with a strong background in software requirement management or SAP consulting. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen, gained either through academic study in IT or demonstrable experience as an IT expert.
In addition to these technical competencies, you should possess essential soft skills, including strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication and presentation capabilities, and a knack for requirements in management and technical design. You have the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders and drive project completion, underpinned by solid project management skills.
**Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:**
+ Support all technical aspects of a customers iterative drawdowns (or check-outs) from their committed fund, including change requests, and upsell where a customer exceeds their fund envelope.
+ Present in detail, technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering, including respective managed service offerings (usually to CIOs, IT managers, data center managers and SAP Technology staff)
+ Present the technical requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on SAP Data Centers, Premium Suppliers and Hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
+ Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and/or SAP Professional Services.
+ Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
+ Work with other teams within the Customer Success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.
+ Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services delivery organization as required.
**Education & Qualifications/Skills & Competencies**
+ High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
+ Bachelors / Masters Degree - Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration required from an accredited university.
+ Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
+ Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
+ Good understanding of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
+ Ability and willingness to undertake customer-related travel on short notice.
+ Fluent in English, any other language an asset
**Work Experience**
+ 10 years of hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (e.g. Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity etc.)
+ Experience with hosting providers, data centers is a BIG advantage; HANA skills are very helpful but not mandatory.
+ Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor necessary

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $132,000-$281,400 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
