Job Title: Sr. COBOL Developer

Duration: 1 year + (extension based on the performance)
Domain: Capital Markets, Investment Management
Billing Rate: DOE
We're in desperate need of Sr. COBOL developers with lot of Cobol/SQL experience with excellent communication skills.
Candidates with banking experience and UNIX experience and db2 experience are preferred. Local candidates are great!
Job Description:
•10+ yrs. Experience (COBOL & SQL experience)..
•Strong Technical, Analytical & Debugging skills
•Strong DB/SQL & Stored Procedures knowledge (preferably Sybase)
•UNIX experience and UNIX shell scripting (C Shell)
•Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple IT and business teams..
•Good knowledge in SDLC & Coding practices
•Banking & Financial domain experience (Fixed Income / Financial Services experience)
•The candidate must be a self-starter with a get-it-done attitude who can work independently and demonstrate initiative across their work.
