The Role
AXS is seeking a Sr Communications Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The Sr Communications Specialist will assist the Marketing Services and Digital Services teams with creating and deploying email campaigns, managing complex pixel implementation, troubleshooting with the data team, and project managing ad hoc marketing assets and responsibilities on AXS.com.
What Will You Do?
- Compose, create, deploy, and track transactional email campaigns to ticket purchasers regarding event status updates.
- Compile and oversee weekly and/or monthly reporting pertaining to emails, pixel implementation, web-based assets, and more to reach departmental KPI's.
- Collect data for the pixel project for the Business Intelligence data team, writing and submitting clear tickets to insure that analytic needs are met. This includes communicating client expectations around the implementation of their pixels and providing advanced troubleshooting support to assist the data team in diagnosing any problems.
- Handle web-based marketing assets with various internal stakeholders to promote upcoming events. This includes tracking sales, inventory management, and content.
- Work cross-departmentally in producing and executing digital components of various AXS.com initiatives including e-campaigns, homepage takeovers, waiting room layouts, and custom-branded event pages.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm strategies and generate new ideas.
- Provide training and mentorship for the junior communication specialists on the team and support for new client marketing hires so they are aware of AXS policies and procedures using the AXS Portal.
- Assist with creating and executing event and tour marketing plans using AXS-owned digital marketing assets and internal project management applications and reporting tools.
What Will You Bring?
- 4-6 years Experience as a digital specialist handling email and web campaigns
- Strong knowledge of ESP (Salesforce, Campaigner, Exact Target, MailChimp)
- Strong ability with project management software (ex. JIRA, Confluence) and reporting software (Looker, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and HTML / CSS or similar programs for web-based projects
- Exceptional organization skills with change agility to adjust to business needs
- Strong oral communication and writing skills
- Collaborative team player, leads by example, ability to manage workload in a group or independent environment

Pay Scale: : $22.49 - $31.25
