Sr Consultant - Child Welfare Systems Planning - Maximus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary. - Support leadership in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, is on time, and within budget. - Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents. - Track the status and due dates of projects. - Manage relationships with project staff responsible for projects. - Produce regular weekly and monthly status reports that could include; work plan status, target dates, budget, resource capacity, and other reports as needed. - Facilitate regular meetings and reviews. - Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in related field. - 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required. - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Additional Education and Experience Requirements:

• Child Welfare experience required.
• Experience in System Modernization Planning for Health and Human Services Programs to Include:
• Development of planning documents:
  • Alternatives Analysis
  • Cost Benefit Analysis
  • Project Budget Cost Models
  • Project Roadmaps and Schedules
  • Feasibility Studies
  • Implementation Advance Planning Documents (IAPDs)
  • System Requirements Development
  • Business Process Reengineering and/or Analysis
  • Development of Procurement Documents:
    • Scopes of work/Request For Proposals
    • Proposal Evaluation Tools
  • Experience with and knowledge of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service Handbook 901
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Experience on at least one Health and Human Services related project involving a program eligibility determination and/or case management systems
  • Ability to interface with executive sponsors, IT resources, management teams, and stakeholders on a regular basis to interview and gather information and data to support analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; experience may be substituted for education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

• Strong preference for experience with the following programs/systems:

o Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children

o Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Systems

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
