Incumbent serves as Senior Contract and Grant Analyst for research administration
in the Department of Medicine (DOM). Duties include Pre Award, and some Post
Award, support services. The incumbent assists Principal Investigators with all
activities related to the administration of sponsored agreements including: proposal
and budget development and review; clinical study budget cost coverage analysis
and negotiation; regulatory application processes and approvals, adherence to
agency and campus contract and grant policies and procedures, and serves as a
liaison between campus offices on behalf of the faculty and DOM. Additionally, the
incumbent prepares DOM research administration reports and will work with
Division MSOs on division-specific reporting.

- Highly skilled project manager; demonstrated adaptability and flexibility. Skills to coordinate complex, high impact projects, lead teams and external constituents, and direct projects through from inception to completion on schedule. Anticipates and effectively handles change.
- Expert knowledge of research function.
- Expert research skills at a level to evaluate alternate solutions and develop recommendations.
- Highly skilled in statistical analysis, database management and systems programming.
- Expert knowledge in research data analysis techniques and instruments. Expert ability to apply knowledge and skills to recommend innovative, industry-leading improvements to highly complex, unprecedented issues.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $64400- $89300 (Annual).
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
