Sr. Conversion Technical / Business Specialist - ApTask

About Client:
The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.



Salary Range: $120K-$140K/Annum



Job Description:

• 5+ years of experience in Life / Annuity / Health Insurance Conversion / Implementation Projects.
• 5+ years of experience in development/maintenance/projects of Life / Annuity / Health Insurance Systems preferably LifePRO, COBOL, Visual Studio 2017 and up.
• Min 5+ years of experience in SQL.
• Participate in Conversion project planning sessions with clients, project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze conversion mapping, configuration requirements and provide proposed IT solutions.
• Document high level designs, detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/ Enhance software application modules.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of technical audiences to assist with providing guidance on the technical need for projects.
• Policy Administration Expertise: Proven experience with the LifePRO policy administration system, including system configuration, product setup, and maintenance activities is a plus.
• Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of life insurance and annuity products, including policy features and regulatory compliance considerations.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into LifePRO configurations.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, business analysts, and subject matter experts.
• Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be added advantage
• Having experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity products will be added advantage
• Having 5-7 years of Technical / Functional / Business experience in the LifePRO Admin System is ideal.
• Strong Technical Architecture knowledge of the LifePRO System a plus.

• COBOL/C# - Design / debugging / Analysis
