We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Analyst, Corporate Development to join our dynamic team.
The Sr. Analyst, Corporate Development role will primarily support Child Development Schools (“CDS”) but also have exposure to the broader GDH portfolio through various projects. This role will report to CDS’ Director of Corporate Development and directly support the Corporate Development Team to help CDS achieve its inorganic growth goals. The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting the deal team in managing pipeline development, financial analysis, due diligence, and integration plans on a variety of investment opportunities.
Requirements:- This role is in-person at GDH’s Austin office
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields required
- 2-4+ years of professional experience in Corporate Development (M&A), Strategic Finance, Consulting, Operations, Investment Banking, or similar environment working as a data analyst or a financial analyst
- Process-oriented and highly organized, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:- The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Corporate Development team across all phases of acquisition activity through financial analysis and modeling, valuation, due diligence, and integration activities
- Participates in the creation and development of Corporate Development related documents and acquisition presentations
- Preparing reports of findings, illustrating data graphically, and translating complex finding into written presentations
- Analyzing data on select demographics, customer needs, and market capacities for new schools
- Assist with coordination with outside legal counsel for all acquisition related documents such as NDAs, LOIs, and purchase agreements
- Supports the management of the due diligence data room to ensure timely review of documents
- Measuring and analyzing post-close factors to assess successful transactions and to inform with future transactions
- Research activities to include target industries and sectors, geographies, and specific companies using primary and secondary source research methods
