About the Job
Maximus is currently hiring for a Senior Data Analytics Technology Manager to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Senior manager is responsible for managing analytics development for VES under the direction of the Director of Analytics. The manager will manage a team of developers to build and support analytics products meeting quality, scalability, and timeline standards. Additionally, they will provide hands on management, hands-on development and support work, and advise the director on architecture, strategy, and quality assurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee ongoing support and maintenance of deployed solutions, providing technical leadership and guidance to the solution support, maintenance, and other teams in order to deliver quality data solutions for the enterprise.
- Lead solution support, and maintenance projects varying in duration, size, and complexity.
- Effectively coordinate a high-performing, high-throughput team of talented data analytics technical managers, solution architects, software engineers, and systems analysts.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization and work with Project Managers to translate strategic priorities/goals into defined tactical action plans and milestones.
- Work with cross functional leaders to understand and influence business strategy, priorities, and technology goals.
- Oversee the quality, delivery, performance, cost and scope for data analytics implementation efforts.
- Ensure efficient operations through documentation and application of well-defined technical support and maintenance processes and standards.
- Coordinate integration of resources with other teams and processes.
- Enforce structured approaches and methodologies that align with the key strategies of the organization.
- Support staff training and professional development to grow skills in alignment with goals of the team and organizational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in analytics development using Salesforce CRMA or Tableau (including Tableau Prep) highly preferred
- Stakeholder, customer, and technical partner management experience highly preferred
- Team management including priority management, mentoring, and quality control and assurance experience highly preferred
- Project management experience highly preferred

- USB plug and play wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression
- Private work area and adequate power source
- A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
