Data Warehouse Developer is required to work in the IT team that supports the Risk Management department responsible for monitoring, measuring and communicating risks generated by a financial client's business lines
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of Data Warehouses, planning applications and reporting solutions
- Design and implement Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes, programs and scripts
- Gather requirements and create system and user documentation
- Develop solutions to leverage ETL tools and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production problems and data issues
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in analyzing customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions
- Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform data testing and validation
- Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues
Required Skills:
- 5 years experience including data analysis, data integration, dimensional modeling, database design and development
- Advanced SQL skills are a must
- Strong relational database knowledge
- Experience in Unix Scripting
- Proficiency in ETL/ELT Tools like Informatica (preferred), IBM Infosphere DataStage 8.x or higher and Data Integrator
- Development experience in cubes preferably with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Data Virtualization experience in CISCO Composite or CISCO Information Server.
- Experience with MDX
- Perl Scripting
