Sr. Database Engineer (ETL) - i-Link Solutions Inc

Job Title: Sr. Database Engineer (ETL)
Clearance Required: Eligible for Public Trust (3 years should in the USA)

Summary:
The Sr. Database Engineer with serve as a critical resource for i-Link's work in support of is Federal Government customer. The position will leverage their deep technical knowledge and experience in Database and ETL solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ongoing maintenance of existing DB
• Identify performance issues and recommend improvements in current
• DB for immediate and long-term stability
• Optimize all DB queries and updates within currently environment
• Define a migration path from the current database to the "to be
• database to optimize for workload encountered in production
• Responsible for performing ETL development activities including, but not limited to, parser development and deployment; data flow management; implementing data lifecycle policies; troubleshooting data access issues; and developing data models.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or relevant degree is required.
• 5+ years' experience with Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, or other commercial database management system.
• Extensive knowledge in writing and optimizing complex SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Extensive experience developing extract, load, and transfer software operations for data sets in an AWS environment.
