Sparks Group in partnership with a financial services company is seeking a Senior Developer, Strategic Product Engineering. As the Sr Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining specific applications as well as supporting the migration to Cloud based computing. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of related experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementation and testing various software systems. Responsibilities:
- Contribute to new development, maintenance, and support efforts for RTP and other strategic products.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues at levels 3 and 4.
- Conduct thorough investigations to identify the underlying causes of production problems.
- Assist in the implementation of releases, upgrades, and maintenance testing.
- Provide training and guidance to specific teams.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of related IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems in Java, Spring, J2EE App servers on Red Hat Linux, UNIX or AIX
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Sound RDBMS concepts and SQL skills
