SR. DEVSECOPS ENGINEER - QTEC Aerospace

QTEC Aerospace is seeking a SR. DEVSECOPS ENGINEER to join our team of professionals in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government in support of a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.

Job Summary

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent combination of experience & education, with at least 14 years of professional experience or at least 12 years of professional experience with a related master's degree.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with Linux Fundamentals and basic scripting
• Basic understanding of type 1 encryption and/or IPSEC tunnel
• Familiarity with the application and benchmarking of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), as well as at least one compliance framework (RMF, PCI-DSS, CMMC, DFARS, etc.)
• Experience with containers and container orchestration tools
• Experience with infrastructure automation in support of COTS or custom-built applications
• Experience with at least one commercial cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google)
• Experience with the Radiant Mercury Cross Domain Solution (CDS)
• Experience with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC)
• Existing Security Clearance
• Designing, deploying, and maintaining large engineering COTS applications (ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, CAD/PLM tools) in secure, air-gapped environments
• Experience specifically with regard to hardening deployments (DISA STIGs and SRGs)
• Experience with at least one or more languages: Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, .NET, JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with ICD 503/JSIG and DAAPAM
• Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level
• Experience with IS auditing and investigations
• Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard Information Assurance tools
• Experience with developing, reviewing and maintaining RMF artifacts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed
• Self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Security Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD TOP SECRET level security clearance.

Salary Range

$167,000 - $224,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
