Sr. Director, Finance Technology Lead
We are recruiting for a Sr. Director, Finance Technology Lead to be focused on designing, building, and delivering finance technology solutions in partnership with key partners in Controllership, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and Supply Chain Finance functions. This position is located in the United States. Preferred location is Summit, New Jersey.

What will you do
The Sr. Director position will be a critical part of the portfolio of Enterprise Platforms, a set of highly complex, multi-year business and technology transformation initiatives that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain and Finance digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem, standardizing our core business processes across Supply Chain, Market and Financial Operations, and enabling our integrated data strategy.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing large-scale global technology programs, particularly in the finance domain, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions to drive operational efficiencies and financial process excellence. The key responsibility for this role is to develop a roadmap and lead key strategic transformation initiatives to elevate Kenvue with best-in-class technology, streamlined processes, and deliver deep data-driven insights to create value. In addition, this leader will champion a culture of transformation and innovation, fostering optimized business solutions that are scalable for future growth. This individual will lead a team that closely collaborates with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technology solutions that enhance financial processes and decision-making.
The successful candidate will bring in thought leadership, multidisciplinary thinking, action orientation, creative problem solving, and listening skills. This leader will utilize data-driven insights and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with Kenvue OKRs and regulatory, statutory, and compliance requirements.
Major Responsibilities
1. Lead the design, delivery, and operations of a portfolio of finance systems, ensuring scalability of technology solutions and business processes to support future growth and evolving business requirements.
2. Responsible for the overall budget for the finance technology portfolio inclusive of project, base business, and operations with Total Cost of Ownership for finance technology platforms
3. Build and maintain strong relationships as a trusted advisor to senior executives, finance leaders, and key stakeholders across the organization, providing strategic guidance linking business acumen to financial system capabilities to drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
4. Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring clarity of purpose and effective execution of program milestones.
5. Effectively steer and manage implementation partners and external advisors to ensure alignment of project deliverables with business needs, driving accountability and transparency throughout the program lifecycle
6. Establish robust program governance structures, including steering committees and governance boards, to ensure effective decision-making and issue resolution.
7. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact program timelines, budget, or quality, implementing risk management strategies that safeguard project success.
8. Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to drive adoption of technology solutions within the finance function and broader organization.
9. Share leading practice finance technology trends and application capabilities with the business to continue to drive insights, effectiveness, and efficiency within the finance process.
10. Champion organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes.
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree required
• We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 12 years of experience in progressively larger financial technology leadership roles, along with significant leadership experience implementing technology solutions for a multi-year implementation, in complex global environments.
• Strong understanding of finance transformation principles, best practices, and industry trends
• Demonstrable, deep understanding of the finance technology landscape (e.g. S/4 HANA, Blackline, High Radius, One Stream, Vertex, etc.) system capabilities, and an clear understanding of how the different systems drive finance business insight, process efficiency and effectiveness, and financial control.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex programs, including program planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Deep experience of the system integration lifecycle including system design and deployment, systems integration, data migration, and data model design.
• Ability to remain flexible and resilient under pressure and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-moving portfolio of activity.
• Prior experience defining and leading the change management approach for digital programs with strong knowledge of change management principles, methods, and tools is required.
• Excellent communication skills, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with demonstrable ability to influence/collaborate across divisional and functional boundaries to achieve business outcomes and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities is required.
• Proven ability to lead through organizational changes in a fast-paced global environment.
• Requires Travel: up to 15% domestic

The anticipated base pay range for this role is $214,000 to $276,000.
