Position Overview:
The Senior Director of IT Supply Chain Management Solutions at CJ Logistics is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) platforms and associated technologies. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our WMS technology, ensuring alignment with business needs, customer requirements, and technological advancements. The Senior Director will manage WMS vendors, lead team members, and drive initiatives to enhance WMS performance. Frequent collaboration with executive, operational, and IT leaders is essential for providing updates and driving successful outcomes for all WMS-related projects.
Pay Range: $215 - $220K
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute IT strategic direction regarding supply chain management applications across the enterprise as it relates to Customers, Operations, Engineering and Technology.
Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology to enhance supply chain operations and achieve business goals.
Lead communications around all WMS, including weekly executive team updates and project team updates.
- Lead Customer Engagement starting with RFP, solution sales, Customer onboarding and continued support with QBR’s & projects.
Oversee 4 WMS technology platforms, new customer implementations, WMS Migrations, TES projects, system integrations, enhancements & support, and change management.
Manage new WMS project to include piloting a new WMS technology, engaging customers on conversion, and executing implementations, on time and on budget.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of IT professionals specialized in supply chain management.
Provide input and justify annual budget needs relating to IT supply chain planning.
- Provide leadership and direction to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages a positive, growth mindset for leaders and team members.
- Responsible for hiring and evaluating IT talent for WMS organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to set goals & priorities, critical success factors and define metrics to measure success.
Creates synergies across WMS platforms by driving best practices from each WMS and creating cross WMS learning opportunities.
Manage vendor relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and value.
- Responsible for maintaining SOX/SOC compliance and audit documentation for WMS IT activities.
- Maintain financial reporting to track expenses and benefits to align with budgets and financial commitments.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain Logistics;
MBA preferred.
20+ years of large project management experience, managing a team of directs and indirects, IT WMS and/or ERP experience
- 10+ years IT Supply Chain logistics experience
5+ years consulting experience implementing WMS, TMS and/or ERP systems
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT projects and initiatives
- Strong ability to manage through change
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes and technologies (B2B & B2C), including ERP, WMS, TMS, and analytics tools
Preferred direct experience with the following WMS technologies (Blue Yonder, Korber (High Jump), Manhattan)
- Must be open to travel with the ability to travel 10% depending on projects
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to be a key liaison between internal/external stakeholders
- Strong decision making ability
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Have advanced knowledge of WMS functionality and configurations including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping, receiving and transportation, and inventory management
