What You’ll Be Doing
The Manufacturing & Quality (MQ) Tech@Lilly Sr. Director will serve as the leader for the IT function at BB Manufacturing Facility. This role will have a dual reporting line to both the M&Q IT AVP and the Manufacturing VP Site Head at BB. This leader will be responsible: for
- Defined digital strategy, implement global programs and solutions, identified new opportunities where digital capabilities can solve a problem.
- Responsible of people development and recruitment.
- Be a cross-functional leader a collaborated and contributed as part of the LT in topics outside the IT Agenda.
- Ensure always stated of quality and compliance.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure is in place to support the plants mission.
- Ensure the IT teams are focused on providing solutions and services that harvest value, advance productivity, and enable Operational Excellence through the implementation of global programs and turning data into information.
- Ensure strong lifecycle management processes are in place for all IT systems from conceptual design and development through delivery, maintenance, and retirement.
- Represent the MQ IT roadmap, business plans, and priorities to site heads and site lead teams.
- Act as an interface between the local and corporate IT organization and the assigned site organizations.
- Provide timely communication of project progress and issues and personnel issues to site heads, site lead teams, global site IT peers, and central MQ IT organizations.
- Partner with Managers to ensure effective and consistent communication to the sites.
What You Should Bring (preferred skills)
- Regulatory compliance knowledge and experience (cGMP).
- Effective people manage/development and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple concurrent activities and adapt to changes in priorities.
- Ability to cross functionally collaborate.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Your Basic Qualifications (with no sponsorship)
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 10+ years IT leadership experience working in Pharma and Manufacturing and Quality, especially API Manufacturing.
- 7+ years of strong experience with MES system implementations, Data Integration and Advance Analytics.
