Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Sales [Financial Services] to lead our sales strategy and execution within the financial services and investment management arenas. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of financial products and services, exceptional sales skills, and a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with JazzX AI's vision and objectives in the financial services and investment management sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the CXO and senior management levels within target organizations.
- Revenue Generation: Drive significant revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- 0 to 1 Experience in Product Launches (Must-Have): Lead sales efforts in taking new products from inception (0) to market (1), developing sales strategies and securing early customers.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to effectively position JazzX AI's solutions.
- Team Development and Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Establish performance metrics and provide coaching.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Sales Training and Enablement: Develop training programs to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about products, market trends, and sales strategies.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Set clear KPIs to evaluate sales performance and provide updates on sales outcomes to the executive team.
- Thought Leadership and Representation: Represent Jazzx.ai at industry events to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Experience:
- Sales Leadership Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior sales roles within the financial services or investment management sectors.
- Proven Track Record of Success: Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- 0 to 1 Experience in Product Launches (Must-Have): Proven experience in taking products from inception (0) to market (1), including developing sales strategies and driving initial adoption.
- Expertise in Financial Services Solutions (Must-Have): Deep understanding of financial products and services, including investment strategies, asset management, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Team Development and Leadership: History of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Sales Methodology Expertise: Proficiency in various sales methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
