Electrical Engineer - SoloPoint Solutions, Inc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of hands-on Embedded Electronics with Commercial Appliances or Aerospace
• PCB design/layout using Altium Designer as well as experience selecting components for circuit design and Testing/Troubleshooting (Test Lab environment).
• Experienced with testing requirements for qualification/certification for RTCA DO160.
• Development of Electrical Systems with Microcontrollers (Mixed Signal Controllers)
• Deep understanding with motor controls, MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, microcontrollers, such as MSP, STM, etc.
• Experience with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet).
• Small power supplies (as low as 2 Kilovolts)
• Firmware programming is plus.

• Working daily on development of Embedded Electronics
• Designing new (PCB's) Printed Circuit Boards
• Develop electrical controllers and DC switching power supplies (DC-to-DC conversion power supply) for electromechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting existing electrical systems
• Provide design improvements to existing products.
• System wiring harness as well as cable design.
• Hardware and software testing. (Compliance Testing)
