Sr. Electrical Engineer (Medical Device) - Intellectt INC

Role:Sr. Electrical Engineer (Medical Device)
Location: Burlington, MA 01803 (100% Onsite)
Duration: 5+ Months (Potential extension) on W2

Key Responsibilities:

• Layout and construction of prototype tools and fixtures for development purposes.
• Conduct feasibility evaluations, tests, and analyses for system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and perform fault isolation on breadboards and hybrids.
• Perform measurements as outlined in design verification plans, document results, and provide engineering test reports.
• Document tools and fixtures with specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts for document control and tool release.
• Conduct Electrical Design Reviews, identify tolerance or design gaps, and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.

Key Skills:

1. Electrical Design: Ability to review electrical designs and address gaps or issues.
2. Product Electrical Testing: Experience in product testing and analysis.
3. Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with electrical assemblies and manufacturing processes.
4. EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility): Knowledge and experience with electromagnetic compatibility standards.
5. Battery Technology & Design: Experience in battery design and technology.
6. Power Supply: In-depth understanding of power supply technologies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  (Equivalent work experience combined with education is also acceptable.)
• Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in the layout, construction, and evaluation of prototype Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), fixtures, and tools.
• Six Sigma knowledge and experience preferred.
• FDA regulatory compliance experience and understanding of company operating procedures.
• Advanced computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and specialized engineering applications).
• Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
