Role and Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects and work with an internal MEP/FP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing/Fire Protection) team.
• Business Development: Involves understanding and participating in business development activities, including developing strategies to secure new work.
• Communication: Essential for interactions with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Independent and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Organization and Time Management: Critical for handling multiple project schedules simultaneously.
Core Competencies:
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in electrical engineering principles, especially in building construction.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication, both written and oral, is essential.
• Motivation and Proactivity: Highly motivated individuals who are willing to take on new challenges are preferred.
• Design/Build Experience: Experience in Design/Build project delivery is advantageous.
• Travel: Willingness to travel is required.
Qualifications:
• Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: At least 7 years of experience with complex building electrical systems in the commercial and institutional sector.
• Licensing: Must be a Registered Professional Engineer with a Tennessee P.E. license or the ability to obtain one.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Revit is required.
• Planning and Organizational Skills: Necessary for handling simultaneous projects.
