Sr. Embedded Firmware Engineer - LHP Engineering Solutions

LHP Engineering Solutions is a global Functional Safety leader committed to creating safe transportation with developing technologies such as Electric Vehicles and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. We seek a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Embedded Firmware Engineer who will be responsible for creating requirements, developing code, creating and maintaining documentation, and conducting testing in various phases of the project including unit tests, and functional testing. Low-level platform code as well as higher level application code will all be in the realm of responsibility for this team.

This position will be working onsite in Columbus, Indiana.

Requirements

• C++ experience. (C is not C++)
• Experience with Linux as developer (not only as user).
• Hands-on experience on troubleshooting and testing FW on the field.
• Experience as FW developer for embedded systems. (Processor based systems not really micro-controller systems)
• Experience with multi-threaded / multi process system.
• Experience with industrial / automotive serial communication interfaces (CAN, RS232, LIN, RS485, other).
• Experience implementing business logic (not only driver level)
• Desired experience with connectivity (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
• Desired experience with non-volatile databases/data storage for embedded systems.
• Able to estimate/plan development effort and commit to that.
