Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Senior Engineering Manager in Chicago, IL. The work will be done onsite one day a week. This is a permanent job. Compensation is up to $180,000/yr + 30% bonus.
We are seeking a Senior Manager for our Digital Engineering team with strong experience in eCommerce, product development, and team leadership. This individual will manage a team of 6-7 engineers, along with a manager, and oversee the development of our eCommerce platform and customer-facing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in building and leading full-stack development teams, with expertise in front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, and backend services using C# and microservices.
Key responsibilities include interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers and business owners, to ensure alignment on business goals and customer experience. The Senior Manager will guide teams in developing eCommerce features like navigation structures, shopping carts, and checkout flows, while ensuring seamless integration with backend services through a thin C# layer. Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence is essential, as is the ability to manage projects that come from a digital angle.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, who can effectively collaborate with non-agile stakeholders and has experience in B2C eCommerce environments, particularly within consumer products. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance both technical execution and business-side investment, driving successful outcomes for our digital initiatives.
