US Trades and Talent is looking for a highly skilled Estimator that has worked with multiple estimating software programs.
Salary is $95-$130K

A Senior Estimator reports to the Vice President of Estimating
1 - Essential Job Skills of the Position:
o Greater scale and responsibility of Estimator 3 Essential Job Skills.
o Review complete estimates in preparation of Bid Reviews.
o Lead fully designed projects of any type or size.
o Lead conceptual budgets of any type or size.
o Lead of any Technical/Health Care or Industrial project of any size.
o Mentor/Instruct multiple Estimators, as staffing allows.
2 - On the Job Skills Training:
o Continued education in mentoring, performance reviews and communication skills.
o Continued education in software, i.e. Excel, BlueBeam, Egnyte, Enterprise Manager etc.
o Continued education in trade related means & methods, industry trends and advances.
Education/Experience:
Four (4) year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience. Minimum of seven years recent Electrical Estimating, with on-screen take-off capabilities. Prefer Enterprise Estimating software knowledge. Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department's computer systems and software. Familiar with local and national code and regulatory issues.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. On occasion it may be necessary to lift and carry or manipulate items of 20 lbs., walk over uneven or unpaved ground to reach a worksite in construction zones. This position may be required to safely navigate a construction project site for pre-bid job-walks. If you to enter the field, it is mandatory that you wear approved Personal Protective Equipment. This position may be required to work schedules in excess of 40 hours /week. This position may also require occasional travel as necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer.
