What you will be doing:
Seeking a Sr. Facilities Engineer with experience in management, execution, and day to day support of the Maintenance Program for primarily non-GxP lab, manufacturing, and facility utilities and systems. This will at times also be required to coordinate work within cGMP environments.

- Oversees maintenance staff activities to ensure utilities and facility systems are operating safely and reliably.
- Oversees the planning, scheduling and maintaining of all PMs for utility and facility systems to ensure an orderly distribution of assignments and that the assigned staff is properly trained.
- Schedule, coordinate and oversee outside service providers for routine maintenance tasks provided under building, system or equipment maintenance contacts.
- Establishes annual and on-going goals for the maintenance departments.
- Manages work safely and in compliance with applicable quality systems standards for current federal, state and local regulations.
- Oversees the establishment and implementation of procedures to ensure all facilities related equipment (electrical, HVAC, general facilities) are properly maintained and in continual effective working order.
- Monitors equipment and spare parts inventory and directs orders be placed in advance to ensure sufficient equipment and spare parts are available.
- Directs the management of small construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
- Responsible for hiring, motivating and building the capabilities of the maintenance department.
- Oversees the quality of work and performance of the operations and maintenance teams and directs management staff to coach and recognize individuals as appropriate.
- Directs the development of training to ensure that all maintenance staff is trained appropriately and their training is documented for tasks assigned.
- Directs the development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective processes and utility systems to meet current and future operational needs of the organization.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed and documented properly according to policies and procedures.
- Perform, schedule, coordinate and oversee emergency troubleshooting and repair on various HVAC, mechanical, utility systems, and lab and manufacturing (GxP and non-GxP).
Who you are:
- An Associate's degree in engineering, building maintenance or other related degree and/or commensurate experience is required. One year of maintenance management experience would substitute for one year of a college related degree program.
- 8-10 years of experience with maintaining and installing mechanical production equipment, especially experience with motors, drives, electrical control equipment is preferred.
- Experience with maintaining and installing facilities and building related equipment, and developing building maintenance programs, especially experience with electrical and HVAC equipment maintenance and installation is preferred.
- Prior experience developing and implementing successful equipment and facilities reliability and preventative maintenance programs is preferred.
- Experience in chemical, and/or materials manufacturing would be ideal. Example of industries would include: chemical, bio-pharmaceutical, food, fragrance, etc.
- Experience performing work in a GMP environment is preferred.
- Must have strong, collaboration, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,991 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $152,382 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
