We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sr. Field Service Engineer to become an integral part of our engineering team.
In this role, you will perform installations, troubleshoot, and provide top-notch customer support for our state-of-the-art Gleeble Systems. Beyond hands-on technical work, you’ll play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and coordinating the daily operations of our System Service Engineering team. When our Manager of Integration & Service Engineering is unavailable, you’ll step up to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Training: Guide and support Service Engineer 1 team members in their daily tasks, ensuring they are well-trained in servicing, calibrating, and upgrading our systems.
- Customer Service & Installations: Perform worldwide installations, upgrades, and services of Gleeble Systems, ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Project Management: Collaborate with our Embedded Systems group and Production team on various projects, maintaining and updating Zoho Projects for efficient workflow.
- Documentation & Quality Control: Create and maintain service documentation (PRM), troubleshoot system performance, and uphold quality control procedures both in-house and on customer sites.

- Successfully execute installations and service operations across the globe.
- Provide exceptional training to new and existing engineers and customers.
- Effectively manage and develop Engineer I staff, contributing to their growth and our team’s success.
- Keep meticulous records and documentation, ensuring consistency and reliability in our service processes.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Salary range: $75,000 to $95,000 annually

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual’s unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience and geographic location, as well as internal equity.
Requirements:
- Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a similar role, with hands-on experience in schematics, multimeter, oscilloscope usage. Programming skills in Python, C, etc., are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Travel up to 30%(+/-) is required
