Senior Financial Analyst
PrideStaff Financial is seeking a bilingual Senior Financial Analyst for our client, the nation's premier specialty diagnostic laboratory in North Palm Beach who fosters a culture built on teamwork, mentorship, and recognition. A place where people feel empowered and enjoy going to work every day.
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will:
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting and forecasting, including data gathering, template preparation, and variance analysis
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks for the organization
• Analyze and interpret complex accounting statements, understanding their interrelationships
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of accounting statements and monthly performance metrics
• Generate comprehensive cost and expense reports, preparing accurate cost projections
• Synthesize and present operating data to explain financial performance trends to stakeholders
• Evaluate financial statements (income, balance sheets, cash flow) to assess company performance and identify improvement areas
• Analyze capital expenditures and depreciation, assessing their financial impact
• Create professional management presentations for external parties such as banks and lenders
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment
Requirements:
• Fluency in English and bilingual proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) a MUST
• 3+ years of experience in a financial role, reporting directly to executive management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multi-project handling and deadline meeting
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis, performance assessment, and trend identification
• Robust numerical and analytical skills for complex financial modeling and data analysis
• Critical thinking ability to evaluate financial data and make informed recommendations
• Meticulous attention to detail for accurate financial reporting and forecasting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
• Experience with SQL and database management (preferred)
• Willingness to learn new software and productivity tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex financial information
• Flexible team player with a can-do attitude
• Resilient and composed under pressure, with adaptability in stressful situations
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
