Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. Additionally, maintain a strong business relationship with key leadership in providing financial guidance by studying operational issues, applying financial principles and practices, and developing recommendations. The Senior Financial Analyst will support ACI Annual Operating Plan and develop Revenue and Expense Forecasts, Reporting and Analysis. Core competencies include the ability to communicate effectively, organize and analyze data, thinking independently, while working within a team environment to help achieve results.
Responsibilities:
- Active participant in building Monthly Forecasts and Annual Operating Plan, analyzing trends and identifying areas of improvement in profitability.
- Assists in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials for ACI Commercial/PMM Organization & Banking/Merchant Segment.
- Strong ability needed to perform Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis as business deems necessary.
- Operational engagement with Sales Organization to maximize Financial Performance.
- Develops analytical framework for making financially based business decisions and recommendations.
- Builds management reporting packages using financial systems and company's data, eventually moving toward analytical outputs.
- Develops and maintain internal analytical forecasting model.
- This role is a key opportunity for anyone looking to learn about ACI's financial revenue and expenses, and financial systems with focus on the ACI Banking/Merchant Segment businesses & Commercial/PMM Organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related field.
- 5+ years related experience for Senior Financial Analyst.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and methodologies.
- Strong Excel skills, fluency with formulas and functions.
- Strong proficiency with financial modeling and techniques.
- Fast to understand, interpret, and create reports & presentations that communicate financial results in a concise manner.
- Leader by nature, takes the initiative to propose improvements to processes and can lead teams of functional owners to buy into and deliver on new ideas.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and trends as they relate to the financials.
- Strong analytical and data gathering / mining skills.
- Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Process planning & design.
- Good business acumen. Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Must be comfortable working with a remote manager and team, as well as in an office environment.
- Working knowledge of standard accounting principles.
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a matrixed, complex environment.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Work authorization in the U.S. required for U.S. role.
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced Cognos TM1 and Salesforce User.
