Function: Finance & Accounting Job Summary: The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining and operating the financial systems maintained by the Company. The role will participate in the month-to-month operation of S/4 HANA and other systems owned by Finance, including assisting in the evaluation of new functionality that will improve Financial Systems processes. Additionally, this role will manage the master data and data governance associated with maintaining the Company’s financial systems. An individual in this role works cross functionally with both the IT Group to maximize the utilization of the Company’s current Financial Systems and participate in the testing of new modules or new Financial Systems and with Finance and Accounting business partners to enhance functionality and internal control operation. Job Description: Major Responsibilities: Support the Accounting month-end close process (including fixed assets, costing, plant accounting, and consolidations) through executing required processes and transactions within S/4 HANA, including but not limited to maintaining foreign exchange rates, running the revaluation and translation processes within S/4 HANA, ledger management, internal orders and budgets, accrual and recurring entry processing, loading of Plan and Projections into financial systems, and assisting in the running of reports and transactions as needed by the Company. Support the operation and maintenance of other financial systems, including but not limited to S/4 HANA Group Reporting, Trintech Cadency, Avantis, Oracle, Blueworks, Workiva, and SharePoint. Assist with requirements gathering, development and testing of new systems or additional functionality within current systems utilized by CF. Maintain master data across all CF financial systems, including maintaining current operational process and controls around master data to support the Company’s day to day business operations and all CF initiatives. Develop and maintain processes and controls related to the operation and maintenance of master data, and perform data quality analysis on data in the Company’s Financial Systems and support CF’s data governance initiatives. Participate in the evaluation of existing operational processes and controls and actively partner with the Risks and Controls team to perform, test, and enhance internal operational and SOX controls. Perform other accounting and IT related tasks as assigned. Incumbent Attributes: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required. Years of experience: 5+ years of diversified experience with accounting systems, data governance, and internal controls. Other unique job relevant attributes: (1) Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) module required; (2) Experience with S/4 HANA Group Reporting, Workiva and Trintech Cadency a plus; (3) Knowledge of accounting, SOx/internal controls and the ability to apply business and financial concepts into a systems environment.
