Description
The Senior FP&A Analyst supports the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis functions across the company. This role is responsible for reviewing monthly results, ensuring accurate business unit level reporting and analysis, and supporting the preparation of month end reporting packages. The Senior FP&A Analys will collaborate with departments across the organization to help analyze and communicate key drivers of the company’s financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage headcount reporting
- Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Assist in the development, maintenance and analysis of weekly cashflow forecast
- Assist in the preparation/presentation of management reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Provide documentation and support to auditors as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and controls. Develop and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Partnering with CEO/CFO and SR Director FP&A to build Board presentations
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards and regulations
- Assist and support other employees and teams as necessary
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution required
Experience:
- 3+ Years of FP&A experience, preferable Medical Device industry
- Experience with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Experience with Budget processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
