Overview:- The Sr. FP&A Analyst will provide quality analytical support to both the FP&A team lead and the Regional Finance Director. This will take the form of analyzing cost bases to drive efficiencies to developing standard costing models and preparing investment cases as well as under supervision building strategic models. The role directly reports to the regional finance lead and directly interacts with the regional operations and facility teams.
- Assist with the area Finance, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain, Sales and Tax teams for bid process support.
- Implement standardization of financial requirements to support bid process.
- Coordination and preparation of allocations to Areas.
- Collaborate with Areas to manage standard costs and rates.
- Prepare monthly functional/departmental reporting to executive management.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reporting package for executive management.
- Assist in identifying ways to streamline processes and document procedures and interface within the Area
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of financial information
- Perform ad-hoc assignments on a monthly basis for management review.
Qualifications:
- Minimum5-10 years total relevant finance/accounting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting standards.
- Intermediate to advanced PC Skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.
- Hyperion HFM and SmartView experience is preferred.
- CPA/CFA preferred
- JDE and Essbase experience is a plus.
- Financial analysis and excel based financial modeling
- Experience in providing analytical support for financial/commercial decision making
- Understanding of basic valuation techniques and corporate finance
- Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in the Energy & Construction Industry a plus
