POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Google Ads Associate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to drive performance, increase conversions, and maximize ROI for our clients. This role requires an in-depth understanding of paid search and Google Ads best practices, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to managing budgets and achieving KPIs. The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with the account management and creative teams to align campaigns with client objectives and ensure consistent, compelling, and compliant messaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of Google Ads accounts, including campaign setup, monitoring, and daily optimization to meet KPIs.
- Strategy Development: Work with clients to understand business goals and develop strategies that align with their objectives.
- Keyword & Audience Research: Conduct in-depth keyword and audience research to inform ad targeting and bidding strategies.
- Performance Reporting: Build, manage, and update custom reports in Excel to track KPIs and present insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ad Copywriting: Create compelling and effective ad copy that aligns with brand voice and drives clicks and conversions.
- A/B Testing: Set up and monitor A/B tests on ads, bidding strategies, and landing pages to continually improve performance.
- Budget Management: Monitor and optimize budgets to ensure efficient spend and prevent overspend, using data to make adjustments.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with Google Ads platform updates, trends in PPC, and competitor activity.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing Google Ads accounts with a proven track record of meeting client KPIs and driving performance improvements.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other Google marketing tools.
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Data Studio, SEMrush, or other PPC and SEO tools is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting insights and strategies to clients.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring campaigns are set up and monitored correctly to minimize errors and maximize results.
- Google Ads Certification (preferred but not required)
