Job Purpose

The Senior Data Analyst utilizes analytical skills and professional knowledge to support various business needs related to HR Data. They will serve as a subject matter expert supporting regional and governmental reporting needs through data collection across AHM, HDMA and subsidiaries: this requires them to support multiple Business Units at different levels of the organization. This position will also be responsible leading the creation, analysis, and submission of the AHM HR Business Unit’s manpower forecasts and monthly plan vs actual headcount reconciliation.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the creation, analysis, reporting, and submission of the AHM HR Business Unit’s manpower forecasts and monthly plan vs actual headcount reconciliation.
- Work with the department leaders in the creation of 4-6 budget events per year ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
- Lead monthly Manpower reconciliation and issue resolution for the Business Unit
- Create and analyze reports within various systems to support the monthly reconciliation, plan vs actual reporting, and staffing trends for forecasting
- Develop and maintain Organization Charts for each Department and Division
- Review and process manpower requisitions
- Collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics
- Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly Metrics – data collection, organization, reporting, and support of issue resolution to ensure completeness & accuracy of HR data
- Support Diversity Reporting – pull and organize data and support the creation of reports utilized by Senior Leadership. (ex: Diversity Inc, National Diversity Council, Rainbow Push)
- Support ad hoc HR data requests from other companies and BU’s
- Support data gathering and analysis for governmental reporting: collaborate with Resource Planning Sr Specialist on Legal and Government data, analytics, and reporting needs (ex: EE-O, Regional Compliance, Corporate Equality, AAP…)
- Department Engagement Lead: lead activity that will improve associate engagement within the department.
Job Dimensions
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 yrs experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience handling HR Data or HR Systems, Preferably Success Factors
- Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation and organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft product skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Sensitive to time related matters, able to meet output requirements
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience using Tableau or other Analytic Tools
- Handling and distribution of PII (Personal Identifiable Information) confidential information
