Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Senior Human Resources Generalist for a Temporary position in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a full time, in-person, contract position. Looking for someone with strong experience in the different HR functions who is willing to jump in and help out the HR team wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Human Resources team with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and compliance
- Handle payroll and timesheets for 150 employees, entering into ADP
- Assist with benefits administration, leave programs, answering questions related to benefits and open enrollment
- Employee relations, disputes, terminations and investigations
- Respond to HR inquiries and help with communication of employee requests
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Work collaboratively with the HR team to achieve results related to company initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience with payroll, onboarding, recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and administrative projects related to HR
- Experience working with union employees is a plus, manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- The ideal candidate should be proficient in office software and possess excellent communication skills
Compensation
- This is a contract position, paying 33-43/hr with flexibility depending on experience
- The position will likely last at least through the end of the year
