Budget and Contract steering
This role steers the HR Division operating expense budget including requests and monitoring adherence with approved budget. You will work closely with HR managers and controlling teams to make expense budgets adherence projections based on trends including regular monitoring. In addition, you will assist HR managers in providing cost justifications and Controlling teams in identifying cost reduction efforts. It is a key responsibility of this function to design the budget and invoice processes in a clear and transparent way to ensure every stakeholder understands their responsibilities and problems e.g., unpaid invoices or untransparent budgets can be fixed proactively. Through the contract management process, you will provide vendor management support to ensure the business is operating within policy guidelines to protect the interest of BMW Group. This also includes creating and monitoring contracts, ensuring data privacy, and partnering within the business if a contract is shared.
Audit and Compliance
You will be responsible for internal and external audits, monitor auditor requests, and work with responsible Associates to ensure timely and accurate information is provided. Report audit findings and monitor implementation of countermeasures, providing status reports to auditors periodically. Ensure that you stay up to date on compliance requirements that apply to the diverse BMW business units you support. You will represent HR on compliance related projects within the business and ensure compliance requirements are met including required documentation in eGRC, ICS, etc.
Target and Process Management
You will be responsible for measurement systems implementation to monitor Service Level Agreements ("SLA") and Three Level Target attainment for the HR Shared Services organization. By monitoring and reporting adherence to SLA's, you can initiate and monitor countermeasures when they are not met. This role is also responsible to ensure completion of Internal Controls requirements.
Project Steering and Management
You will oversee the portfolio of PL-AM-US-1 projects. Monitor progress of projects and report status, holding team members accountable to their commitments. Support project team leaders to take action to remove barriers to project success, escalating issues as needed, and driving for resolution.
Impact on innovations and changes
You will develop strategies to drive organizational change, persuasively communicate the need for change, and engage key organizational leaders to support and help drive change. You will address obstacles needing change by actively seeking feedback and addressing issues. Identify opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of internal processes. Monitor the effectiveness of the changes implemented to ensure buy-in and adoption of new standards and processes.

The pay range for this role is: $91,490.00 - $123,780.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and/or experience. (Master's degree preferred)
- 5-7 Years minimum professional experience including:
- 5 + Years experience in Human Resources, in Compensation, Benefits or Planning and Steering.
- 3+ Years experience budget planning, forecasting and actuals reporting.
- 5+ years data analysis and reporting experience.
- 3+ years project management experience.
- 1+ years creating and delivering executive level presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Mathematical aptitude and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of financial reporting processes and requirements.
- Audit management and response experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization.
- The ability to keep sensitive information confidential is imperative.
Preferences
- Experience working directly with BMW Purchasing processes and contract requirements.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above.
- SPHR Certification preferred.
- Formal change management and/or project management certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of BMW Corporate Identity Standards.
- Experience with SuccessFactors Salary and Bonus planning module and Employee Central preferred.
