Sr. Human Resources Generalist - Navistar, Inc.

Position Overview:Responsibilities:

• Conducting employee investigations and employee relations
• Document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all ER cases    
• Maintain good/consistent communication with manager and employee on pending cases
• Interpret and drive consistency of HR policies and practices.  
• Work cross functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners, COEs, etc. across the company to plan and implement various initiatives and processes
• Works closely with site leaders to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently administered with all employees. 
• Lead change
• Project management of key cross functional programs and priorities
• Analyze data to drive critical business decisions

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 8 years of human resources experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

• Master’s degree
• At least 6 years of human resources experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

• At least 10 years of human resources experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements:

• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. • Experience independently handling employee relations investigations and cases

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, possibly conflicting priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment 

• Excellent problem solving and timely decision-making experience

• Excellent communication and documentation skills and follow-up

• Ability to build relationships and act as a liaison when necessary

• Ability to maintain  confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

•  Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus   

•  Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
