What the Role Is
Are you looking to grow your career in HR? Super Star Car Wash is seeking a dynamic Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources Team. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role involves supporting management and employees in resolving workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and implementing programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Familiarity with Arizona, California, Colorado and Texas labor and employment law is required.
You will also help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented and most importantly, personable and approachable.
This is a remote position with scheduled travel for site visits as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to performance management, regulatory compliance, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and leave, 401(k), recruiting, occupational health and safety, and employment law.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns and issues.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
- Maintains knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Investigate employee complaints and concerns, document findings and recommend appropriate actions for Arizona, California, Colorado and Texas.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations issues, investigations, and outcomes.
- Prepares, reviews and approves employee terminations, corrective action and related documentation.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Works closely with the Operations Team to meet the hiring needs and ensure that onboarding/retention is consistent with the business goals.
- Completes miscellaneous projects for the Human Resources team.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree and/or certification in Human Resources is preferred.
Experience:
- At least three (3) years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience conducting HR investigations.
- Familiarity with employment laws in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas is required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
Pay Transparency
The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn a weekly commission and bi-weekly retention sales bonus based on individual performance.
